Time Entries

The Time Entries feature allows users to log their time down to the second, manage their activities, and keep a detailed record of how their time is spent. It is designed to help users track their work efficiently and analyze productivity.

Key Features

  • Log Time: Users can record the time spent on a particular task or activity, starting from the second to the exact minute.
  • Categorize Activities: Users can assign a time entry to a specific category under different pillars and select an activity related to the task.
  • Add Notes or Comments: Users can provide detailed descriptions or notes to explain what was accomplished during the recorded time.
  • Real-Time Timer: A live timer is provided to accurately log the time spent, which the user can stop once the task is completed.
  • Edit Time: Users can edit the logged time if adjustments are needed after recording.

How to Use the Time Entries Feature

1. Logging Time

  • Navigate to the Time Entries page in the application.

  • Click the Start Timer button to begin logging time for a task.

  • Enter the following details:

    1. Time Entry Name: Provide a name for the task or activity.

    2. Pillar and Category: Select the relevant pillar and activity that the time entry belongs to.

    3. Comments/Notes: Add detailed comments or notes to describe the work done during the task.

2. Stopping the Timer

  • Once the work is completed, click the Stop Timer button.

  • The system will automatically log the time down to the exact second.

3. Editing Logged Time

  • If you need to make changes to the logged time:
    • Click on the time entry you want to edit.
    • Update the time, category, or notes as needed.
    • Save the changes.
