Building helpful and progressive UI actions

The primary reason for any user to use a piece of software is to make their lives simpler and organize so they can do more with less. Once a task gets completed, think from users perspective what would they like to do next and help take them there to achieve a seamless flow of user experience.

In the example below, user has completed all the requirements of a task, next actions following such a call would either be 'I want to add another sub task...' (Option A) or 'I am done with this task...' (Option B), present user with both the options if your are not sure always having a default selection (Option B in this case) which seems of higher priority to you, put yourself in the shoes of the user and take the best call, or ask the users if in doubt, feedback is always helpful.

Example usage

See such an example on task view page, where it'll prompt user to either complete a task or continue working on it.
